This marks an important date in our fight against this nasty disease.  Today, for the first time since before the biopsy surgery Bill has written his own progress post!  We are celebrating the fact that slowly but surely the ability to read and write are returning.

Well here I am and definitely heading in the right direction as I am now able to compose and type the blog by myself.  That should make for more frequent blog entries and updates to what’s happening in our world.

I know it’s been quite some time since we’ve made a blog entry but hopefully that will change with my ‘new’ skills.  It’s the end of February, the 26th today.  I am finding that the hardest part is finding the occasional character on the keyboard but otherwise the reading I’ve been doing, although challenging and a bit slow at times, is proving beneficial.    Have having the ability to communicate via the blog will be a big advantage and I will won’t have to get Maureen to do it all.

So what’s been happening in our world for the past couple months?  Well, monthly Chemo is still a reality for five days each month.  We have figured out a system and other than added fatigue at Chemo time, things haven’t been too bad for the five days during Chemo each month.  Confusion with certain things is still an issue but we attribute some of that to the medication but hope that decreases with a reduction in that medication over time.

Generally I feel pretty good.  I try and get out for a walk every day barring the occasional day when the weather is so bad that I can’t.  This is Victoria though so there’s usually some time during the day that going for a walk is possible and yesterday was beautiful out.

That’s all for today but standby for the next issue.

-That's wonderful news, Bill --Thank Goodness. My family and I continue to pray for you, Maureen and the kids. The kids particularly know my respect for your tough, intelligent and professional manner. They also know how the big CA has affected our own family. They know how kind and generous Harbour Air and it's employees have been to us.So much so that it is hard to keep in touch with everyone because it feels time to give back and to do volunteer work, and to pay "things forward" if we miss opportunities. So forgive me for not phoning you when I went to the cancer clinic a few weeks ago.I didn't want to put you or Mareen on the spot with all your medical appontments, home projects and rehab and of course dexa methazone. My kids say " Dad's dexxing out -- runn!". You gotta keep your sense of humour. They also know I don't like to receive things anymore, but would rather just go back to flying airplanes and working with every body again and telling jokes. I know from following their schoolwork that they are affected positively and will grow up strong and appreciative of their health and that nobody get's a free ticket through the obstacles of life. Rite now ,they are winning every ballet and jazz dancing contest on the island, and dance for free at the old age care homes.I'm travelling to Victoria on Friday and again April 11 for Radiation if can make the car ride. Seems the CA is back now in my lower back and it broke in two places so I can't lay down or spank my girls anymore, and can only sleep in the living room lazyboy.Poor wifey, but she's happy I can't ride the motorcycle either! This is an unattenable situation that will be fixed by next year if they don't kill me with those CT Scans first.I'll see you around on Friday if you're feeling up to it.

Hello Bill, this is my prayer request to God for You !
Oh Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, the mighty God, the source of life, Here I come to you to present Bill, father God you are our healer and nothing is impossible to you, when medicine says impossible , you say it is possible. This prayer is coming from my heart, remember God what you say in your words, call me and I will answer you. Bill and his family join me in this prayer, we are calling you: Behold , you'll bring health and healing, and you'll heal us and reveal to us an abundance of peace and truth . Come and rescue!!!! Please Lord hear our prayer. To whom shall we go ? Be the hope of Hann's family and in return's we will give you all the glory. Thank you for answering our prayer. Amen
